, with two large auditorium style spaces and two reception halls, is an ideal downtown location for performances and lectures for 50 – 900 people. With several “green rooms,” performers and presenters can prepare for their event in style.  We also offer an array of amenities including:  complimentary use of our equipment, assigned staff, and services to make your event a success!

For groups as large as 900 people, access both the Main Sanctuary and Eliot Chapel with a Remote Live Feed.  Record your event in the Main Sanctuary while it plays LIVE on a ten foot by ten foot screen in the Eliot Chapel.

After your performance or lecture, host a reception in one of our adjacent reception halls.  Offer your guests coffee, tea and punch for just $1.00 per person.  Hire the caterer of your choice or self-cater your event.  Alcohol is also permitted here.

The Eliot Chapel

The Eliot Chapel accommodates up to 250 guests. Greet your guests in the Eliot Chapel Narthex located at the entrance on 1011 SW 12th Street.   The Eliot Chapel offers excellent acoustics for its completely refurbished 6’2” Mason & Hamlin grand piano and 30-rank Wicks pipe organ, as well as for performers and lecturers. Adjustable stage lighting, chandeliers and sconces help create a warm atmosphere for your event. A ten foot by ten foot screen is also available for this space for film screenings and presentations.  Built in 1924, the Eliot Chapel is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. 

The Main Street Sanctuary

Envision up to 700 guests at the opening ceremonies of your conference or seminar in the Main Street Sanctuary.  Upon entering the sanctuary at 1211 SW Main St, welcome and register your guests in the ample sized Narthex. The Main Street Sanctuary provides theater-style seating with a balcony and historic 1880’s pipe organ and grand piano framed by a walnut and gold leaf presidium arch.


The Buchan Reception Hall

The Buchan Reception Hall, in the LEED Gold Certified Buchan Building is an ideal venue for small presentations, lectures and receptions from 10 to 250 guests.  Greet your guests in the spacious two-story atrium.  Then invite them into the Buchan Reception Hall, a 2600-square-foot, modern, and naturally well lit hall that accommodates 160 people seated.  The hall has two moveable partitions creating various combinations of available space. It also has a built-in roll down screen for presentations and film screenings.

Fuller Hall

This informal hall creates a comfortable atmosphere for up to 180 people seated or 250 people standing.  The piano and ever changing Art Wall provides a provocative backdrop for your speaker or performer.  Located beneath the Main Sanctuary, this space is also ideal for a reception after a performance or lecture.

Green Rooms

For events hosted in the Eliot Chapel, the Channing Room, a formal parlor, makes a wonderful “green room” for performers and presenters.  For events hosted in the Main Sanctuary, the Robbing Room offers a private bathroom and is located downstairs.
